INFO ON GUILD MEETING*** Hail great Aspen Warriors! The Aspen Warriors held a guild council meeting tonight Feb 26, 2001. The meeting addressed two main topics of discussion. First we discussed the situation currently going on with the BlackHand guild whom a while back we went into a guild war with. After the war was over we made a rule for all Aspens to go by for a short while after the war...this rule was basically a No-Grouping policy with any member of the BlackHand guild. After a long meeting with the high council that was called in result to much arguments between two members with opposing views I had to come to a fair and even decision. After hearing both sides out I came to this conclusion and here is the ruling...I am now uplifting the No-Grouping policy on the BlackHand, meaning I am now relaesing the old rule and I am granting permission to group with their members. After all I now we of this guild are in no place to tell anyone who they can and cannot group with. That is wrong. But...I am forbidding anyone to talk about inner guild affairs or anything that goes on in Aspen Warriors with any members of the BlackHand guild if you so do choose to group with one of them. This means even if you develope friendship. Any guild affairs are now deemed confidential information and are not to be discussed with any BlackHand members. This is not an issue of freedom of speech, this is the same as if you worked for the government and it was illegal to release confidential information...it is done for the same purpose, because releasing info on our guild not only lets our guard down but also effects other members of our guild. I trust all of you to respect this simple rule as it is not necessary to disclose any guild info anyways. Furthermore...We also presented the new organization of the guild. Thus we have instituted what is called Officer-Crew relationship. This means that in time all Officers of the guild will be assisgned a "crew" of members that they are directly responsible for. This meaning that officers will be responsible to check up on the members in their respective "crew" to see if one may need help with getting an item or help with anything for that matter, also allows officers to see who is doing well for the guild and may be considered for a promotion! All members will report to their superior officers every so often and then the Officers can report to me the leader. This way I can get a good overview on who needs help and who deserves a possible promotion of sorts. It gives us better organization and makes it easier for us to be able to help one another. According to which members certain officers work closely with usually will effect which members are in their crew. It will all be sorted out when the time comes. But rememebr this does not mean that you must follow your superior officer wherever he/she may go...nor will you take orders from them. Its just a way to organize it. I never give orders and I do not intend to start now...its not a dictatorship, I see it as OUR guild and I am here to lead and guide you all! All the details will fully be drawn out in the following few days when we get this up and running. Thank You all!!! and seeya in Norrath!!!!! Check below this message for info on mandatory raid and lotto game!!!!! Hail Aspen Warriors! A short meeting took place regarding two new events that will be happening. The topics at this meeting were as follows, a mandatory guild raid and where it will be held. Also I gave the announcement of the starting of the Guild Lottery! The guild raid will be held in Unrest near the ButcherBlock mountains in Greater Faydwer, This is a MANDATORY raid...A date will be decided on once evryone in the guild can get a chance to hear about this raid and get back to me what is a good day and estimated time he/she can do it...We will schedule a day when it is convienent for all to be able to make it! This is mandatory and that zone has hunting grounds for all levels...we will provide ports and guidence to that zone and also guidence of appropriate areas to hunt for ones respective level! So fear not if you are a newbie, you will have enough backup to keep you alive and safe. With this raid we can open our guild storage of rare items that we can save in case anyone ever needs a certain item. Also...The Guild Lottory now named Power Platinum...will be handled as follows...It will cost 2pp for one ticket and 3pp for the second ticket (Max bets are two tickets a person) I will roll a random die with a witness nearby (I will not be eligable for lotto) the number that comes out is the winning number. The person or persons who picked that number wins the jackpot...If no winner is claimed for that week the jackpot will stay and you must purchase more tickets for the following week(increasing the jackpot amount)This will continue to a winner is claimed! Tickets will be submitted to me via email. Hail Aspen Warriors!!! Our guild has prevailed!! The BlackHand guild has ceased its attacks as of late! The war has died down and our guild stands triumphant as one! After the war is officially over we of the Aspen Warriors will hold a guild duel tournament of members! The winner of this tournament will be declared Guild Champion, with that title comes responsibilities of course that will be drawn out later. All members excluding those who have a title are welcome to test their wits in the duel contest. This meaning, I Almasy Atrayu (Leader), Octavion (Assistant leader), Samany Starbreeze (Woman-At-Arms), and Sinuvas (Founding father) are not eligible for this contest...Officers in the guild are eligible. If you are a council member and wish to participate you must resign your title at once. The winner of the tournament will recieve a large pot of Platinum along with some suitable magic items. Those in the council must contribute to the grand prize.More details will be announced soon! So stay tuned everybody! The tournament will be held next month sometime. All those who wish to participate and register as a contestant must email Sinuvas at [email protected] Pretty soon the guild will have an inner guild lottery system in which all those who wish to participate in the game will be able to purchase a ticket with their selected lottory numbers. From all the tickets bought we will use the money and distribute it to the winner of the lottory, as a fun way to try out your luck and gain some serious money! This idea is still in the works, so let me know some of your ideas on a good way to setup the lotto. Thanks! --Almasy Guilds have diverse trade skills for a reason. It makes it easier to find an item you need. We ought to set up a trade day. For example every Sunday members should be in the position to make things. That doesn't mean you have to drop everything and stand in front of a forge, it should just be the day of the week you are extra prepared to buy sell and trade things. (We are still working on the idea. It doesn't have to be Sunday, but let me know --Almasy |
